Sale Information

Gabe is everything you look for in a young prospect. He is sound in mind and body and is the definition of in your pocket. He shows talent for the upper levels, yet is quiet enough for an Amateur to bring along with a trainer.

Gabe ran one time, placing 3rd in a MSW at Churchill Downs! He was retired by his connections due to the COVID-related shut downs. He retired sound and spent very little time at the race track, as he lived and trained on the farm.

The transition to show life has been seamless, as he takes everything in stride and enjoys learning new things. His retraining did not begin until early May of this year; however, he is already becoming solid on the flat and is schooling lateral movements. Over fences he is brave and willing, with flawless form. He has attended several horse shows, including one overnight on show grounds, and has schooled cross country. He is quiet to hack alone or with a buddy. I primarily event, however Gabe could easily step into the ring in dressage, hunters, or jumpers. He has offered a natural flying change when jumping courses. He is nearly ready to make his Beginner Novice eventing debut and has schooled some Novice questions.

Gabe is easy to load and ties quietly at shows. He is good for the farrier and the vet. Due to being gelded in March of this year, he will require a structured turnout situation and cannot go out with mares. He will do best in a full board situation where he has his own stall for feeding. He requires front shoes but can be barefoot behind. As an added bonus, Gabe is already a professional at giving both hugs and kisses!

Make Gabe your own and attend the 2020 Makeover as a competitive entry in the discipline of your choosing!
