Sale Information

Fun enough for an amateur, talented enough for a pro, Little Red Rodeo exudes ability, class and attitude. Alpha mare with a heart, she skillfully places herself in mixed herds without issue and under saddle, she is just as confident and compliant. She takes on new tasks with enthusiasm!! An all rounder, Red learned to jump successfully in one hour at the Horse World Expo in Harrisburg under the guidance of Dom Schramm in front of an audience and under a novice rider. Under Meg Montgomery, she has learned to hunt a barrel, cut a cow, and cover cross country. This handy little mare would make an experienced youth rider run to the barn every day. No vices, she will be your favorite face to greet each morning. Leads are good and soft, manners on a loose rein are there, she picks up her knees and has a sweet jump, and is a solid but clean slate for her next career.

Notes on Previous Injuries: This mare was given four months of stall/small paddock rest for an apparent strain to her LF suspensory at the origin, diagnosed by Dr Bende and her former racing trainer starting January of 2017. She never got past her 1/2 mile work. She then had some abscess trouble but for the past nine months has been in regular work, sound and happy without trouble.
