Sale Information

After the Goldrush is a 15.2, 2013 gelding. What Weston lacks in size he makes up for in heart and in kindness. Weston is the first one at the gate begging for attention every day, and absolutely loves everyone.

He would be a dream project for a smaller amateur or junior rider though Weston prefers a rider with softer hands. He is the same horse from day to day, whether he has had a day off, or is off property having a new adventure. He has trail ridden in company and alone, and has been an absolute dream to work with.
Weston has been restarted slowly in dressage, and has also just recently started over fences. He has a nice, ground covering walk, smooth trot, and while it still needs work, a very uphill canter.

Weston has been a saint of a first project for his amateur rider who just recently started riding again after a long hiatus. He has done everything asked of him, including packing his rider over any jump he has been pointed at whether in the ring or out on the cross country course, even though she rides a bit like a baboon after such a long break from riding consistently!

Weston loads, clips, ties, and stands perfectly for the farrier every time. If you are looking for a project to bring along and finish your way, you can't ask for a better prospect for jumpers, dressage, or eventing than Weston!
