Sale Information

Direct Threat, or "Cash" as he's known in the barn, is a 16.0 HH 2015 Gelding by Calumet's standing stud Americain, who is by Proven sporthorse sire Dynaformer, and out of Misty Daylight, pedigree also includes Mr. Prospector and Northern Dancer.

Cash isn’t the kind of horse you debate about buying. He’s the kind of horse you see once and do everything you can to make him yours. Not only is he nice to look at with just the right amount of chrome, he has the absolute best personality to boot. Cash is smart, willing, affectionate, and the easiest 3 yr old I have ever come across. It’s no wonder he is the barn favorite! He raced three times and was ultimately uninterested in going fast. He came off the track 100% sound with no known issues or blemishes.

As young as he is, we decided to let him down for 3 months and slowly began training with a strong foundation in dressage. His three correct gaits, and natural self carriage were evident right off the bat. Cash has an expressive trot that suggests a successful career in dressage, coupled with fantastic, rhythmical, ground covering stride that will impress a judge in any hunter class. He came pre programmed with an natural lead change, which is no surprise considering how fabulous his canter is. He has been jumped lightly, you’ll be pleased with his correct form over fences, and willingness to learn. Cash loads and travels well, bathes quietly, clips easily (ears included), stands quietly in cross ties and loves to snuggle when its chilly. I cannot say enough good things about this horse. He is still green, but would be fantastic for an intermediate rider with a trainer.
