Sale Information

Cave Johnson is a 5 year old Thoroughbred gelding who is affectionately known just as “Cave”. Cave stands at a solid 16.3 hands, with great bone, a solid build and a flashy dapple grey coat that makes him a standout. Cave is as quiet as can be under saddle and he prefers to be ridden with spurs and no crop. He is currently in Hunter training and will be competing in the show hunter division at the 2018 Thoroughbred Makeover. A cute mover and already showing correct form over fences, he has the scope and talent to be a very competitive Hunter. He is currently schooling small courses at home with lead changes. Cave has also been cross country schooling and is brave to the fences and he enjoys being ridden outside of the ring. His personality makes him the sweetest horse in the barn. He has never tried to bite, kick, or act up. He loves attention and to be fussed with and will come in the field when you call him. He could stand all day and eat peppermints and was given the nickname “Big sleepy” at the racetrack because of his love for long naps. Cave is suitable for a junior or adult amateur and will only be sold to the best home!

Notes on Previous Injuries: Cave had a chip removed from his right front ankle while still racing which has resulted in mild arthritis in his right front ankle. It is currently maintained with Adequan and he should have no limitations because of it.
