Sale Information

Lobo, is a 2014 Dark Bay Gelding by Demon Warlock at out of Run a Copy by Basket Weave. Lobo stands 16.2.5hh

Lobo was introduced to our program the day after he sustained a suspensory tear during a race September 24,2017. Practical Horsemanship is based in Sandy, Oregon, and is full service therapy, rehabilitation facility. Originally our goal was just to make him sound and re-home him. However his huge heart, and kind nature and desire to be well, inspired us to take him further. He was deemed sound for general riding in April of 2018. He has been in training for the RRP ever since. While his usability is limited to flat work and trail riding, Lobo has proven to have an outstanding work ethic. He is an all business kind of horse with a tremendous love for people and an absolutely stunning personality.

By the time Lobo reaches the RRP he will have logged over 300 miles in the back country of the pacific northwest. He has been schooled in trail obstacles, exposed to gunfire, fireworks, smoke and anything else you can think of. Lobo is bold, athletic and is a breath taking mover. He would excel at Cowboy Dressage, Lower Level Dressage, Competitive trail, Hunt Seat, Working Equitation or with his fantastic disposition be a dynamic schooling horse for the intermediate rider. He is very soft, bold, confident and loves to learn and work.

While Lobo is listed for sale at the RRP, he has proven to be a valuable asset at our business and has a forever home. However we wish him to go on a accomplish more great things and have a single owner that can make him their lifelong partner. Lobo rides beautifully in both english and western tack or even bareback. ~ Buyer agrees to inform seller of any future sale within a two year period of purchase at RRP event. Sale price is negotiable to the right home
