Sale Information

More than just a (very) pretty face!

Looking to take on ditches? Banks? One stride combinations, liverpools or that big ole corner? Want to make excellent time on xc, be able to adjust to each fence, and do it all without having your arms wrenched from their sockets? Hoping to head out with the hounds or for a solo trail ride across the river and through the woods?

If so, Summer Lassie is your mare.

"Summer" is a bold, adjustable mare with an outstanding brain that is ready for her own person. Skilled, powerful, and scopey enough for a pro and sensible and kind enough for an amateur, Summer would make a great addition to any stable. She has shown enormous promise in both eventing and show jumping, but she's smart and capable enough to learn any discipline you want to teach her.

At just shy of 16h and 5 years old, she has competed successfully through Novice (and won) and has schooled 3'3'' courses without being challenged. She is cat-like over fences and brave on xc, finishing each HT on her dressage score with no jumping faults. Summer's inquisitive, sweet nature makes her the type of mare that even pro-gelding people like.

She does it all: clips, ties, loads, hauls, trail-rides, hacks out alone and in groups, is great with dogs and commotion, and as an added bonus, she has clean, tight legs and keeps her weight well throughout the year.

Lovingly owned by Morgan Kennedy and professionally re-started, competed, and prepared for sale by Aubrey Graham (AP Graham Eventing).
