Sale Information

Showstone is here to bring your adult pony dreams to fruition! This absolutely stunning 2015 16.1h gelding is truly a pony in a horse's body....and I mean that in a good way! By Horse of The Year Mineshaft, out of the Irish bred daughter of Galileo, Bola de Cristal. You couldn't customize a better sport horse prospect if you tried....with bloodlines such as Galileo, Mr. Prospecter, AP Indy, Nureyev...all which guarantee a successful transition to a 2nd career.

"Kane" is the sweetest, quietest 3 year old you could imagine. He is extremely brave and level headed, very comfortable to ride, and the same horse whether he's ridden daily or once every 2 weeks. Truly a rare find, Kane would excel in the hunter ring no question. He has fantastic flat kneed and correct movement with a good step that isn't overwhelming. Since he is only 3 years old, we have chosen to go slow and set a strong foundation for the future on the flat, but he shows good willingness over ground poles and small cavallettis.

Kane would make an excellent project for an intermediate to advanced rider under the training of an experienced professional, only because of his age. Although I feel he is destined for the hunter ring, his bravery and rideability would lend well to any discipline. Clean front ankle xrays are available. A good home that will appreciate how special he is will be of utmost importance. We are located only 20 minutes from the KY Horse Park, and Kane will be available to be tried before or during the makeover.
