Sale Information

“Horse with a bright future”
--Ange Bean, Dressage Judge, Sept 8, 2018

Speedy Caz Steel, known as Speed Bump around the barn, received this compliment from the judge after his first dressage show. A horse with focus and confidence, he tromped through puddles and ignored the flowers and judge’s stand as he completed his tests in the pouring rain!

Honest, brave and versatile, Speedy Caz Steel is up for anything his partner wants to do:

Competed in the x-rail jumpers at the MAHR horse show in June
o Ribboned in all his classes
o Made tighter turns with ease
Entered the dressage arena for the first time on Sept. 8
o Scored in the 60’s on both tests
o Received an 8 on his halt
o Qualified for DVCTA year-end show
Hacks out cross country
o Relaxed, both alone and in company
o Eager to lead
o Handles obstacles well
Schooling over fences
o Cavalettis
o Gymnastics
o Lines

He is a balanced and lovely mover, suitable for dressage, eventing, jumpers and hunters. Speed Bump is an uncomplicated ride, but needs someone to fine-tune his education. A sweet and easy horse to work with around the barn, this gentleman is just as easy at a horse show or other event, as he loads and unloads well and stands for tacking and untacking.
