Sale Information

Hush Up is a 2013 dark bay gelding standing at 16.2hh

“Hush” is the perfect gentleman on the ground and under saddle. He is safe enough for beginners and talented enough for a capable rider to really put together and enjoy. Hush has proven himself in both the hunter and jumper rings, recently bringing home reserve champion in a Open Jumper Classic and 4th in a Low Jumper Stakes class. He also earned himself a 10th place ribbon in a large Open Hunter Derby field (his first time doing a derby). He would also excel in the EQ ring.. this guy is a true 3 ring horse.

He has a lovely, ground covering stride and steady pace for hunters, but can kick it into a higher gear for jumpers and is handy enough to take short routes. He has also schooled XC and shown nothing but bravery and willingness out in the field.

Hush is currently schooling 2’6”-3" courses with scope for more. He has a correct lead change that is nearly automatic and has several shows under his belt. He is the same horse on and off property. Little to no prep at shows. Bathes, clips, ties and all that other good stuff and has no stable vices. Also self loads in a trailer as an added bonus.

He truly is a horse that a young rider could enjoy and grow with safely, or a talented junior or ammy could really make something out of.. and of course, pros would enjoy him too, just as I have!

Priced at 12k, negotiable to a show home
