Sale Information

"Yurei" is stunningly handsome with a great brain. He was restarted slowly, using natural horsemanship techniques and classical dressage principles. He is a dream to ride, with smooth gaits and the most willing personality. He retired due to a suspensory ligament injury and has been rehabbed, but would be best suited for a light/moderate riding home. He would make a wonderful trail horse, or family horse--loves children, has been around dogs, chickens, goats, motorcycles, trains and more. He takes it all in stride. Yurei is a once-in-a-lifetime horse!

Shows potential for: Amateur Friendly, Dressage, Horsemanship, Junior Friendly, Ranch Work, Trail

Notes on Previous Injuries: He had a suspensory ligament injury on his right front. Some calcification has occurred, that does not interfere with the joint. The injury was estimated to be about a year old when he came to our rehab program. Through PT and bodywork, he has strengthened and learned how to best support that dropped fetlock. Light/moderate riding home required.

Radiographs Available? Yes

Organization or Business: Pas de Cheval Horse Rescue

Purchase Process: We have an open door policy and will take back any adopted horse at any time. Adopters must agree to providing the horse with basic needs, and not push beyond its limits. Less experienced adopters may be required to work with a professional trainer. Adopters may sell the horse, but must inform Pas de Cheval if transfer of ownership occurs, and new adopters must enter into the same contract with Pas de Cheval.
